Gary Husband livestream from Ealing

9th December @ 4.00 pm GMT/UTC

The Ealing Club CIC loves to champion the West London initiatives of others to help foster an environment of musical mutual awareness.

It gives us enormous pleasure to announce a very special, live streamed performance of Jazz Pianist, Gary Husband whose session work has included stints with the likes of Jack Bruce, John McLaughlin and Andy Summers. All three of those musicians began their careers during the hazy days of the West London Rhythm and Blues boom that was highlighted by Jack Bruce in the movie “The story of the Ealing Club – Suburban Steps To Rockland” (Available on DVD & Sky Arts in UK/Ireland)

Gary Husband will be performing a special Jazz piano set, live from St Mary’s Church Perivale, a location managed by a charity that is successfully developing a global audience for classical music while supporting musicians and funding the upkeep of a key historical building, St Mary’s Church Perivale.

The streets surrounding St Mary’s Perivale are also the birthplace of keyboard players Rick Wakeman and the legendary Pianist, Nicky Hopkins (session player for the Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks & The Beatles + many more). In recent years, a commemorative bench and plaque have also started to accentuate Perivale’s musical connections. (More details here)
