Ealing Eclectic & The Tom Walker Trio

Tom Walker has been honing his guitar playing from a very young age, earning respect and admiration from music lovers and musicians across the globe. Now at the age of 21 he is now driving British blues to new levels from the heart of the UK with Tom Walker Trio.

They have toured with the likes of The Move, Paul Jones (The Blues band, Manfred man), John Lodge (The Moody Blues) and Devon Allman to name a few. Tom has worked with producer Richard Digby Smith (Free, Reef and Led Zeppelin) on recording the trio's first record.

Following the release Tom travelled to Austin Texas to play a string of shows over in the USA. With great success including radio play with The Paul Franks Show (BBC Radio WM) and Paul Jones Blues Show (BBC RADIO 2). After a busy summer touring the trio have finished their latest run of shows ending at London's Borderline Club playing with Billy Walton.

Paul Jones is a fan of Tom’s and played a track from his EP ‘Stranger Face’ on his show on the 26th of September, and said “I think Tom Walker definitely has something”

Plunger said of his last EP ‘This nicely crafted set of songs promises much for the future, and having just seen the Trio live Plunger can confirm there’s plenty more where these came from’.

Blues in Britain said ‘And it’s probably the voice that’s the trio’s secret weapon: a fine black silk and sandpaper soul instrument that can do powerful baritone up to a smooth falsetto’

Tom was voted Best Artist on the introducing stage at The Great British Rock and Blues Festival and is playing The Ealing Blues festival in July
