TV News Features New Club Film

24 October 2017 — Suburban Steps To Rockland, the new film telling the story of the Ealing Club was highlighted on BBC London News on 24 October as the recently-completed documentary heads towards its world premiere at the London Doc’nRoll Festival on 4 November 2017.

The film made by 62 Films includes interviews with Ealing Club manager Fery Asgari as well as founder members of Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac, Thin Lizzy, Hawkwind and Cream and key figures including Chris Barber, Bobbie Korner (Alexis Korner’s wife), Terry Marshall (of Marshall Amplification), Don Craine (Downliners Sect) and Ali Mackenzie (The Birds).

The BBC London TV news item features interviews with the film’s director, Giorgio Guernier and executive producer Alistair Young, co-founder of the Ealing Club Community Interest Company.
